Terms & licence
These terms apply to kinovst.com and to the KinoVST software. KinoVST is made by KinoCUT (Kino Wester). Contact: info@kinocut.nl.
1. Free use
KinoVST is currently offered free of charge. Nothing is sold. If that changes, it will be clearly stated and any extra terms will be shown to you first.
2. Licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use KinoVST, also for your own music productions. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the software, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer it (except where the law explicitly allows it), or bypass the licence checks.
3. Pro and Epic codes
- A code is personal and may not be shared or resold.
- A Pro code works on up to 2 computers and from 1 internet (IP) address.
- KinoVST checks the code with the KinoCUT licence server and then works offline for up to 14 days.
- A code can be permanent or time-limited (for example 24 hours, 2 days or a week), counted from the first activation.
- Only KinoCUT can reset or revoke a code, for example in case of misuse.
4. Your music
Everything you make with KinoVST is yours. You are responsible for the rights to samples and material you use.
5. No warranty
KinoVST is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it is error-free. Always save and back up your projects.
6. Liability
KinoCUT is not liable for damage caused by using KinoVST or this website, such as lost projects or recordings, except in case of intent or gross negligence, or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
7. Updates and termination
KinoCUT may change KinoVST, release new versions or stop offering it. Your licence ends if you break these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law of your country of residence gives you a different right as a consumer.
